Food is tradition

Food plays a big role in my Life, it seems that in every aspect of my life food is always involved.
Growing up with a mother who thought she was a gourmet chef was always fun. She would come up with these crazy dishes, but they always turned out amazing. At Thanksgiving my mother makes the majority of the food, including her famous garlic smashers that she makes every year.
My husband and I have made a tradition that every sunday we make a new dinner and dessert that we have never made before. Each week one of us gets to be the one who decides what to make. So far this has been a tradition for two years.
Celebrating something is a reason to get together and go out to eat. My husbands family always getting together and having a good time. a few times a month we will go out to a new restraunt and celebrate someones birthday, anniversary or graduation.
There are many things in my life that revolve around food. Food will always be a constant tradition in my life.

Facebook is a community

Facebook is a community. I believe that it's a community because millions of people log into their page everyday and keep friends updated with new pictures and fill them in with every little details of their life.
This community is held together by the people who are apart of it. The members hold onto it by talking and stay connected with friends, family and co-workers. It's a great and easy way to stay in touch.Facebook allows you to join groups, in which you can find people that have some of the same interests as you. You can start talking with them about your interests. Updating your "profile" is something many people have in common as well, and sometimes people tend to brag about themselves. Most people are only joined for one reason and that is to stay
Facebook is a community because people of all ages with similar interests are a part of it. I fit into this communtiy. I love being able to keep my friends and family updated on whats going on in my life. Facebook is about staying in contact with people, and this is my communtiy.

The contents inside my life.

As I scattered everything out of my purse and onto my coffee table, I realized that there are a few particular things that show a little about the type of person I am. Below is what is listed in the following picture;

Drivers Licence
Credit Cards
Debit Cards
Costco Card
Starbucks Gift Card
Macy's Gift Card
Floss Card
Concert ticket
Disneyland stub
A quote
Mascara
Chap stick
Cuticle Cream
Digital Camera
Phone
iPod
Car Keys
Water Bottle

As you can see there is quite a bit of stuff, but hey I'm a girl and we tend to carry everything along with us.

If someone were to find my purse they would see my digital camera. They would be able to tell that I am always taking pictures. I feel that it is important to have it at all times because I never know what is going to happen, I don't want to pass up a great memory without snapping a few pictures.

I literally have four Starbucks cards in my purse, people would most likely assume that I'm addicted to coffee. However, this is not true. As much as I do love my white mocha's and passion tea lemonades I am not an addict, I simply have them because it seems like the only gift I ever receive is a Starbucks card. They are never ending.

People could also tell my love for music. I have in my wallet an old concert ticket to one of my favorite bands Tilly and the Wall. I also always have my iPod nano with me, whenever I'm not in the car I always try to listen to music.

By looking in my purse people cannot tell what my true identity is, they can only just gain bits and pieces about me.
